Lambing Course

We are running several lambing courses at Beech Hayes Farm.    We will also be running other animal husbandry courses throughout the year so drop us a line if you are interested.

Whether you are a smallholder, farmer or just want to get your hands dirty this is a fantastic course that covers everything from conception to consumption and, provided the sheep oblige, the delivery of the lamb and their subsequent care!

A hot meal and tea and coffee are provided and the day runs officially from 10 - 4 but going home at the correct time is not compulsory....especially when lambs are popping!!

Full notes to take away are provided too and we can also help arrange local B&B for those coming a distance.  Cost will be £65 for the day and will help you save lives when your sheep lamb!  Other aspects of sheep husbandry can be covered by request.
