We run several farm
orientated courses and other animal husbandry courses throughout the year so
drop us a line if you are interested. These are designed for people from
beginners to the more experienced or just for those who want to get their hands
dirty!
Ruth has 30 years of
practical experience of working in Agriculture, together with a Lantra
Certificate and HND in Agriculture.

any issues which many be encountered but also care and management of the ewe

Poultry for pleasure or profit. A one day course looking a small scale
poultry keeping, including laying hens, table birds, chicks, turkeys, ducks,
geese. |

Calf rearing
and Care of the Cow:
A course which covers
all elements of rearing calves, growing your own beef and keeping a house
cow. Discussing breed selection, desired outcome, management, feeding and
general upkeep. Looking also at the logistics of cattle passports and the
rules and regulations on the transportation. |
