Freddie first saw Moz at an agility show and fell in
love with her. After taking with her owner it
turned out that she had just taken Moz on as a rescue
dog, but was not sure that it was going to work out.
Since we want everyone to give a rescue dog a chance we
decided to try and help her owner with the transition.
Sadly it didn't work out and the decision was made that
Moz would have to go back to the rescue centre. We
agreed to look after her until there was a space for
her, but in the meantime it was a chance for Freddie to
work on Julian about keeping her....
So Moz joined the
pack! Yah! She is a nutter! She is a
collie/kelpie cross and has the worst traits of both
breeds! But she has real character and so funny to
watch. We have started agility training with her
and we also had her working the sheep, however the
kelpie took control and she became a bit too strong with
the sheep, so we have stopped with the sheep. She
swings between being dominant to submissive and scared
and this has been quite hard to work with, but as she
becomes more confident she is getting better with the
agility.
